How's this for a good sales pitch:

"I can't promise you anything, but I got the exact name I wanted and so did my brother. Mine is just, myfullname@gmail.com. And my name is pretty common...no more need for silly numbers etc! When gmail comes out it's going to be huge, I honestly think this is your only chance to get the name you always wanted. This could be the email you never will have to switch from. In my opinion, gmail is that good."
